Introducing Fall River Mills Chiropractor, Dr. Michael Maier

"People tell me all the time- I thought it would go away. Truth is, if it was going to go away on its own it would have in a day or two, but the problem is still here, so what are you going to do about it?"

"I have always wanted a career in medicine but was not convinced that everything could or should be healed with either drugs or surgery. It was shortly after being introduced to my grandmother’s chiropractor that it all clicked and I knew that this was the way for me to make my impact on the world."

Dr. Michael Maier

Dr. Maier completed his pre-chiropractic education which included course work in inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, biology, anatomy and physiology. He was then accepted at Palmer College of Chiropractic. During his four years there, his studies included biochemistry, a major emphasis on anatomy and physiology, xray, diagnosis, chiropractic adjusting techniques and patient care. Upon graduation he was awarded Valedictorian for his academic achievement and Clinical Excellence for his outstanding performance in the clinical setting.

Dr. Maier has a strong philosophy on the importance of health. The following is a summary of his thoughts and beliefs:

"Health should be held in very high regard. It is a gift we are given and we only have one chance at it. For if we are not careful, it may be gone forever. Most people feel there are things they could have done or should have done to take better care of themselves, but they didn't. We can't go back but we can go forward and we can control where we go from here. That is where we come in. Chiropractic works very well at correcting the underlying interferences of the nervous system which controls the whole body. It is very successful at helping many different painful conditions. We have helped restore health to people suffering from a wide range of conditions for many years.

Regular chiropractic care is an important part of achieving ultimate health as it realigns the vertebrae of the spine effectively treating common symptoms such as back pain and headaches. More importantly it helps restore the optimal function of the nervous system by removing interferences. This enables our bodies to operate at peak levels of performance, leading to ultimate of health. I love what I do as there is an unmeasurable energy created by helping people on a daily basis, easing pain, restoring hope and seeing their pain and worries wash away, being replaced with happiness and gratitude.

I am fortunate that I have the ability, desire and skill to positively influence the lives of so many others. Chiropractic not only helps bodies to heal but also gives people an invaluable gift, a greater quality of life. After all, without our health we have nothing. I look forward to helping many more lives in the future."

Dr. Maier is married and has three beautiful daughters; Mariah, Kristen and Kala. You will intermittently see them in the office. In fact, long time practice members have watched them grow from newborns to the young girls they are today.

Dr. Maier regularly receives chiropractic care. He believes that good nutrition and exercise are integral parts of staying healthy and therefore exercises daily, both on the treadmill and lifting weights, and also maintains a clean diet.

"Enough about me! How can we help you with today's safe and natural chiropractic care? Give us a call so we can help you take your first step toward better health."

Can chiropractic relieve PMS?
If you have subluxations, especially in the lower spine that impair nerves that direct and monitor the reproductive and hormonal systems, chiropractic could be helpful. Undetected subluxations may also be responsible for pelvic pain, incontinence, sexual dysfunction and even infertility. Maybe chiropractic can help. Find out!
How could chiropractic help a stomach problem?
Chiropractic works by locating and reducing areas of the spine compromising nerve communications between your brain and your body. If nerves to or from your stomach are irritated, your stomach won't work right. Chiropractors find the source of the interference, reduce it and allow your body to work as designed.
